Another feature, again courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, sees us look at those Pompey personalities – past or present – who have a birthday on this day.

20/9/1946: Roy Pack
20/9/1957: Billy Eames
20/9/1967: Michalis Vlachos
20/9/1969: Lee Darby
20/9/1977: Stefani Miglioranzi
20/9/1979 Sean Davis

From the Ed

Happy birthday to Roy Pack, Billy Eames, Michalis Vlachos, Lee Darby, Stefani Miglioranzi and Sean Davis – the Pompey players from the Blues’ past born on this day.

Pack and Eames were well before my time with Darby recalled more for his time after Pompey to be honest.

Vlachos had a few tough times at first but was one of the most committed players I can recall.

Meanwhile, Miglioranzi was always a player I liked but one who didn’t ever really live up to his – thought to be – potential did he having been linked with the likes of Everton before joining the Blues.

Davis had a decent spell at Fratton Park, perhaps one that deserved more involvement.

Now onto the games previously played.

Played – 18
Won – 7
Drawn – 5
Lost – 6

The one game for me only today, the most recent draw at Fratton in 2014 against Wycombe but I do recall a few others well, including the shock League Cup defeat at Gillingham in 2005 with a me and some friends being away in Newquay at the time.

What are your memories of Pack, Eames, Vlachos, Darby, Miglioranzi and/or Davis from their Pompey days? Also have you taken in any of the games previously played today – if so what are the memories from them too?

PLAY UP POMPEY
