Another feature, again courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, sees us look at those Pompey personalities – past or present – who have a birthday on this day.

19/11/1961: Mark Chamberlain
19/11/1977: Paul Harries

From the Ed

Happy birthday to Mark Chamberlain and Paul Harries – the Pompey players from the Blues’ past born on this day.

Chamberlain isn’t someone we could forget not that I saw much of him really as he was with us before I was regularly going – one of his sons Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain is of course now with Pompey.

As for Harries, I cannot recall too much of him from the little time he spent at Fratton Park.

Now onto the games previously played.

Played – 15
Won – 5
Drawn – 3
Lost – 7

I do recall a good few games played in the past but it is again another day when I’ve not taken in a game at all.

What are your memories of Chamberlain and/or Harries from their Pompey days? Also have you taken in any of the games previously played today – if so what are the memories from them too?

PLAY UP POMPEY
