Happy birthday to Robert Nutley, Ian Stewart and Matt Ritchie – the Pompey players from the Blues’ past born on this day.
Nutley well before my days – in fact he would have been before anyone obviously – with Stewart also too soon for me and both unknown to me too.
However, I recall, and always rated, Ritchie well. Yes, clearly would have gone at some point yet should never have been palmed off like he was by Steve Cotterill but hey ho.

Not a bad day with more games won than anything else – I personally have a 50% record.
I was at Fratton Park for the win over Wycombe in 2016 and was also at Upton Park for a defeat from a game in an odd goal in seven at West Ham in 2011.
