Harry Redknapp has said that no new faces will be arriving before the FA cup game with Ipswich this weekend but 4 familiar faces will still be here…

Redknapp again stressed that he ‘will not’ have money to spend and will be ‘patching up his side with loan or free transfer signings’ but no one will arrive before we go to Ipswich on Saturday. He says that he does have some names in mind though.

However our African quartet of Sulley Muntari, Papa Bouba Diop, John Utaka and Kanu will all be available for this game as we have refused their respective countries permission for them to leave early for training camps – they will be heading off next week though.

To be honest, as much as I do want to the win the cup game – along with the cup itself – I would prefer it if they were not available in a way, as we would then have to use several of the players that you would expect us to during the African players absence anyway.
