A ‘proposed’ takeover by a consortium fronted by Rob Lloyd had gone ‘pretty quiet’ – if this was a good or bad thing was down to the interpretation of those thinking about it.

Although sky sports news is today saying that Admin Andy has told them that the due diligence process will begin next week…

It is ‘said’ this was going to begin today, but for whatever reason – perhaps the upcoming Easter weekend, who knows? – this will now start next week after a £5,000 fee was paid for them to ‘look at the books.’

Of course this, if true, and the fact that Lloyd and co are going to undertake due diligence, again if true, means nothing until a takeover goes through, so all we can do is ‘wait and see’. Although ‘if’ this proves the case lets just PRAY that we have finally found something that can be the ‘real deal’ and offer us some stability after all the months of uncertainty surrounding the club…
