We all support Pompey; we all have an opinion on the club so why not share this? Vital Pompey is looking for answers to a few simple questions, which Chix has.
Vital Pompey prides itself on the interaction we have with our members.
We like to think that we rarely claim to speak, or even say that we do speak, for all Pompey fans and instead look to gage a wider opinion from our own thoughts shared in that attempt to get the wider views shared by our fellow fans!
As such we welcomed answers to some (ideally all) of the following questions, which Chix was happy to do.
Here is what they said…
1) Overall thoughts of the 2010/11 season?
Well we survived and are still in business that’s good enough for me .. I consider a BIG + that we are still in the Championship .. Well done Steve Cotterill.
2) Who was the player sold or released (in the summer of 2010 or during the season) that we most missed in 2010/11?
Doesn’t fall into either category … but how good would have Jamie O’Hara been this season.
3) And the player sold or released (in the summer of 2010 or during the season) that we least missed?
David James .. I really thought we’d miss him big time .. but Ashdown did a great job all in all and although he had a few mishaps.. didn’t James ?
4) What did you find good about the 2010/11 season?
Erm.. Survival !?
5) And the thing(s) you found most bad?
The Pompey Supporters Trust spouting off every five minutes about how they wanted a say in this and a say in that .. drives me up the … wall .. nuff said.
6) How many games did you attend in the 2010/11 season?
All league and cup at home except one .. Barnsley.
7) Do you have any idea what you plans for attendance in 2011/12 will be?
The same /.. plus a few choice away games .. Seagulls, Scummers and Blackpool.
8) So, onto Steve Cotterill – what are your thoughts on the boss?
Top man .. doesn’t deserve to be slagged off by fickle supporters who think they can do better.
9) Who did you think was the most impressive loanee we had in 2010/11?
Ritchie De Laet by a mile.. although Halford comes a good second.
10) What about the least effective and impressive loanee Cotterill brought in last term?
Not a loanee .. but Kitson was a crap purchase .. Dickinson and Sonko both gave more than Kitson..
11) Favourite memory/game of 2010/11 was?
Erm.. Leeds .. & QPR H & A.
12) What about your worst moment/game in 2010/11?
None spring to mind… other than reading the crap in The News hyping up a takeover that I bet isn’t even completed by the time this email is read ..
13) You player of the season for 2010/11 and why?
Tough call but for me .. Rocha kept us up.
14) What about the least impressive player of 2010/11? Or should that be worst!
Kitson.. Kitson.. Kitson.. Kitson.. .. no brainer..
15) What would be your Pompey hopes, aspirations or expectations for 2011/12?
Same as this year .. that’ll do me.

I think the Cee Lo Green album is brilliant !
I’d like the cost of Stella to decrease and..
I’d like to see the Pompey Trust realise they have no voice and are an embarrassment to our club and fold .. but of course I only say that because I never get my arse and do anything positive (do I) and they do ohh so much for the club and represent the view of Pompey fans everywhere .. as long as you pay them a fiver … sorry but you asked !
