News has started to filter through over the past few days that there is ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ for Pompey with an end to administration ‘hoped’ to come by the end of the week.

David Lampitt said: ‘we’ve submitted everything we need to and, hopefully, we’ll get the decision we need.’

‘Reports’ today are saying that £3.5m each year, for the next 4-years, will be repaid to creditors with Balram Chainrai agreeing to ‘cover any shortfall in the payments Pompey must meet to avoid a further points reduction’ to the sum of £7m.

I wonder what rate of interest Chainrai would be charging for the repayment of that money to him though?

Unless, which ‘could’, yet I find unlikely – especially in this day and age of ‘money lending’ in football – be something that does not need to be repaid to him…

The most important thing for us now though is an end to admin is within sight, all being well!

‘Word on the street’ has it that this will be announced by 9am on Friday.

When this is confirmed the next phase in the rebuilding of this club can begin, ensuring that we do things the right way is a MUST…
