An article from Alty Blue about Lewis Stockford ‘Tweeting’ that he is going out on loan for a month – read on for more.

With the window opening tomorrow, Lewis Stockford has tweeted that he is going out on a one month loan.

Great for him if he can get some first team experience, but not too sure how Cotterill will take him announcing it on Twitter.

  • another that will leave us at the end of the season then… nope, in all seriousness will do him good to go out on loan and ‘hopefully’ get some football – any ideas who to?
bournemouth perhaps… not sure that cotts will like him ‘tweeting’ this tho tbh!

  • I would expect somewhere local Rug, so it would be no surprise to see him turn up at Bournemouth, or maybe Swindon or Cheltenham.

  • suspect we ‘owe’ bournemouth one so the deal that brought pearce back was always likely to involve the loan or two of a player out – would not surprise me, altho i would like to keep him in and around the 1st team, if williams also went out…

  • It’s the right move to send him out on loan, and I hope he can prove that he has what it takes to break into our first team. Although I disagree with him announcing this through Twitter. No matter who the player is, these things should be left to the OS.
