Football is meant to even itself out of a season, for every ying, there is a yang, well I’ve had enough Ying for now thankyou, Pompey are well and trult due a big old dollop of outrageous fortune!

This time it was a blatant handball that was missed by the officials, I was sat 60 yards away and i could see it, how they missed it was beyond me.

Pompey also were denied another ‘throw’ goal, this time the decision seemed right though, the ball bounsing in the net with obvious contact that I could see.

Pompey I thought shaded this game, I’m sure a few Leeds fans will think the opposite, they had chances for sure, one chance crashing off the bar, the follow up being ruled out for offside, Becchio also being denied by Henderson when clean through.

Pompey were the brighter side in the first half, Donny Lonergan in the Leeds goal the busier man, Pompey were not looking as leggy as they were last week, a full 7 days off doing them good.

Chances were at a premium once more, neither team had a real cutting edge on the day and it took until the second half for Leeds to really threaten Henderson in Pompey’s goal, he though was equal to what was thrown at him.

Second half and Pompey almost got a lead from an unlikely source, Mokoena heading powerfully against the bar, it may not of stood anyway as the referee had a tedency to blow for a foul when either side launched a ball into the box.

In all a draw was probably just about right, both sets of fans will feel hard done by with key decisions, but as I said, Pompey need an outrageous slice of fortune to fall our way!
