Niko Kranjcar is the most “vital” part of the Pompey side! Not my vote, yours – although these findings from PompeyGleamer’s poll are thoughts that I do share.

To clarify, the poll meant “vital” to the midfielder, not the team full stop – well anyway that is the impression that you would get with the names mentioned.

I have made my thoughts on Kranjcar, and how good I think he is and will yet be perfectly clear recently so I do think that he is crucial to our midfield, probably just the most important although Sean Davis has become quite key recently – who would have thought this.

A fella that I do not think we can over look is Papa Bouba Diop – he seem to rapidly be becoming a key part of that midfield and I think his presence was missed against Man City yesterday, not only for what he offers but he – with Sulley Muntari – frees up Davis to be most effective.

What the poll asked – Who’s the most “vital” to the success of our team?

How you voted – Kranjcar 35%, Davis 30%, Muntari 14%, Diop 13%, Utaka 8%

Current Poll – In recent times we have ‘slipped up’ against the promoted teams – not again please!

With Birmingham, Derby and Sunderland being the teams that came up for this season could we go through it without being beaten by any, this is want Lysimachus wants to know with this – ‘will we be unbeaten to the promoted sides (Birmingham, Derby & Sunderland) for once this season?’ Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.
