We get to know a little more about Sneakay.

1 – Vital Pompey username?
Sneakay, pronounced Sneak K, which was given to me years ago when I ran a golf course as it rhymes with my initials CK and I was said to be Sneakay with the ladies. The days of old??.

2 – Where do you come from/where do you currently live?
Born and bread Surrey boy, which should make me a Manure supporter really I suppose, but I spent 5 years in Chichester and Portsmouth falling in love with the city and the team.

3 – How long have you been a Vital Pompey member?
I have no idea to be honest. I think I signed up in winter 2007. Time flies when your having fun, as they say. (Written in April 2009).

4 – What do you think of Vital Pompey? Be brutally honest!
This is without a doubt the best Pompey news/forum going. I have been on three or four different ones whilst work was slow, and found that you just get rubbish answers and abuse off of most of them. Vital Pompey allows you to say what you want and have a decent debate/chat with like minded people. It has also allowed me to make some good friends, and meet people before the games when before I have always been by myself.

5 – How did you find out about Vital Pompey?
Searching around on Google looking for people to talk Pompey with I stumbled across it. Never looked back from day one.

6 – When did you first watch Pompey live – not on box unless this is the only way you have been able to see them? Not necessarily at Fortress Fratton though.
My memories are shot through, and I am lucky if I can remember what I had for dinner last night. I remember going to a few games over a number of seasons in my time at uni, couldn’t tell you who we played though or what year it was even. The first one that really clearly sticks in my head though was going to Ipswich away with my housemate. She lived there and her dad was a season ticket holder so I had to sit in the opposite stand to the Pompey fans, but I still wore my Pompey shirt with pride. We lost that game, but I remember watching the Pompey fans doing a conga around their section still chanting. That was the point I was sold as a Pompey supporter for life!

7 – How often do you get to watch Pompey?
I try to get to as many games as possible, but like many my funds are tight so it is never the amount that I want to. I think I will have been to 6 this season when it finishes, and I would hope to do more next season.

8 – Who is your favourite Pompey Player – current and/or former?
Linvoy Primus has to go down as my all time favourite purely for his positive, never say die attitude and the work that he does outside of the club. If just a little of Linvoy was in every person then the world would be a much better place. I have a HUGE respect for him.

9 – What is you favourite Pompey moment?
With everybody who now goes on to write this, winning the FA Cup will be the best moment that most of us will probably ever know. Enough said.

Alongside that though was the feeling of being 2-0 up on AC Milan. That was such a great feeling, and I never will forget being at that game, and getting within metres of some of the world’s greatest players.

10 – What are your realistic hopes for Pompey in the future?
My hopes for the club are that we stabilize the financial situation and we can stop worrying about all this debt, and reading about other clubs going into administration. Yes I would be upset if we got relegated, but if it allowed us to build a more stable base for the future and to take the club forward in a stronger more profitable way then I would take that option.

I hope that the youth team delivers as much promise as it looks like it will at the moment. You have probably read many times me harping on about the players we have and how much I hope that they succeed. I believe that this is the future of Pompey and these young players will bring the club stability and with it success.
