The transfer gossip this Sunday is not really serving up anything that new to be honest guys…

We have previously been linked with defender Younes Kaboul – with it suggested we offered Sulley Muntari in a swap deal in January – and with Spurs ‘apparently’ ready to sell the Frenchman we will make a move again in the summer according to the Mail on Sunday.

Whenever I have seen the fella, which admittedly has not been that often, I have not been that impressed so I am not too sure on this one to tell the truth. Spurs paid £7m for the fella so will be looking to recoup most of that I would have thought, so with that thought in mind I would give this a thumbs down myself. However Harry Redknapp is believed to have been tracking him for some time so who knows what will happen here?

Again the Peter Crouch stories are in the News of the World – with us allegedly leading a ‘three way’ battle with Newcastle and Villa for the Liverpool man.

I can only add to what I have previously said on this one really. I do think that he will leave Liverpool and do think that there is a very good chance he will return to us in the summer. If we can get him for the now ‘reported’ £6m I would be even happier to be honest.

My own thinking on these two links today – I would give them a 50% accuracy rating…
