Inter have confirmed the signing of Sulley Muntari on their official site – for a fee believed to be around £11m – with him signing a 4-year contract with the Italian champions.

The Ghanaian has great ability that will be hard to replace, and we will not be able to replace this, we will simply have to make do with what we have or hope that Harry Redknapp can pull something out of the hat – either way I feel we will manage, and as said this was a deal that we could not refuse – assuming we are reinvesting this money…

I will not go over my thoughts again, as I have basically said all I had to in this article the other day – Muntari: Tough call, but the right one…

Muntari may well go on to be a world-beater, for Jose Mourinho to want him he must be something special, but to be fair this is a move that he also wanted.

Time will tell if the right thing has been done, I suspect that people will be divided on this matter but players come and go all the time, this is something that as fans we must be used to by now.

I wish Muntari all the very best for the future and thank him for providing me with one of the greatest memories I think I will ever have in my life, seeing us beat Manyoo at Old Trafford thanks to his penalty – what a great day that was!
