All manor of things have been tried in recent months, by fans, management, administrators or even players themselves to try and convince the players remaining to do ‘right’ by Portsmouth Football Club and agree a compromise deal to move on.

Without players moving on in the next couple of weeks, brinkmanship aside, it very much does seem as though PFC (as we know it) will be no more…

Rightly or wrongly with what they do, and in many cases you have to see it somewhat from the players’ point of view too, ‘common decency’ is something that is all that can very well prevent this club from dying now!

The final throw of the dice has come from the fans again.

An SOS Pompey letter is being handed out to the players as a final plea to them to do the right thing and move on – it is not blaming them, it shows an empathy with them but is desperately begging them to move on and give this proud club, of 114-years, a chance to live on.

But will they…
