The Herminator has echoed the thoughts that just about everyone has been asking – ‘tell us exactly what is going on!’

Wages for the players, and more importantly, the staff STILL had not gone through by the 4pm deadline on Monday and he has told The News that it is time for the ‘owners’ to come clean: ‘they should come clean and let us know exactly what is going on.

‘This is the fourth time it has happened this season.

‘The players and staff are working hard for this club, but we don’t know what is happening.

‘It is just amazing that we have not been paid and the club have not been in touch.

So, no one has even explained the situation, and I know for a fact that some members of staff have not been paid for MANY weeks – this went way past ‘unacceptable’ long ago!

The players have as much right as anyone to be paid but they can most likely do without this going through as much as the staff, who do not earn countless hundreds of thousand pounds a year, or millions, and The Herminator also knows this is a ‘big concern’: ‘I am sure the players will be all right, but it is the staff not being paid that is a big concern. They maybe have mortgages to pay, but do not have their wages.’

As a club, both with the current administration and with others for many years before, we have ‘put off’ payments for this and that, we are no longer being able to do this – not that we ever should have anyway! – and you most definitely cannot delay, or not pay wages, this is a basic necessity and if you cannot even do this then I think it is abundantly clear that you are up s**t creek!

Which we are, I think we all accept this now, right?

And The Sun today says that we have 8-days to ‘find a new buyer’ or we go into ‘administration,’ although I suspect worse or more likely as does a ‘club insider.’

This club insider said: ‘the end is very close.

‘Unless someone comes in with a load of new cash within the next week, the club will almost certainly go bust. If the winding-up order is upheld, we simply can’t pay the Inland Revenue.’

Whilst admin is not something that I have ever wanted – for the affects it has on others as much as ourselves, in many ways this would now be a welcome relief, then again we would not come out of it this time would we?

Liquidation still seems the most likely outcome – all I know now is that I want whatever is going to happen to happen now…
