Grimandi to Pompey??

Manager Tony Adams has reportedly turned his attention for Gilles Grimandi as his right hand man.

Adams has already been turned down by Martin Keown as he wants to continue with BBC as a pundit. And ruled a move out for Dennis Bergkamp as he wants to stay as head of youth development.

We are currently short on our staff as Joe Jordan left for Spurs, Ian Bloomfield quit and rumours of goalkeeping coach David Coles leaving for Tottenham means we will be down to the bare bones.

Rumours are beginning as names like Nigel Winterburn, Lee Dixon, Gilles Grimandi, Steve Bould could be joining the south coast.

Personally I would like Winterburn and Giles Grimandi to join us as Winterburn was a no-nonsense defender while Grimandi commanded the midfield along side Patrick Vieira. But we don’t want to many defenders here in the coaching staff.

But will Grimandi leave his post at Arsenal (Scout) to become Adams’ assistant? Who do you want to see in our coaching team?
