It has been confirmed that the game against Fulham, scheduled for 3pm tomorrow, has been called off due to the weather conditions sweeping the country at the moment.

This is something that I have been expecting all week to be honest, some may see this as a good thing but with Fulham missing some key players and us still having some of ours with the club at this point maybe we have lost more by this postponement?

Fulham has issued a statement, see below…

Pompey’s Premier League clash at Fulham on Saturday has been postponed.

The following statement has been released by Fulham:

“The club can confirm that Saturday’s Barclays Premier League fixture against Portsmouth at the Cottage has been postponed due to the adverse weather conditions which are not expected to improve over the next 24 hours.

“The safety of supporters is of paramount importance to the club and following an inspection of the areas surrounding Craven Cottage on Friday morning, it was deemed unsafe for fans to travel.

“The club can confirm that all tickets for Saturday’s game will be valid for the re-arranged fixture date which will be announced in due course.”
