Well, one thing we can guarantee with Pompey is the fact we’ll never do things the easy way.
Saturday’s victory at Bradford ensured we remained top of League One – Sunderland are very much the side to watch though having closed to within three points with a superior goal difference and game in hand – but it wasn’t easy at Valley Parade.
Blues owner Michael Eisner, whilst obviously being content with the points, is longing for the time when we make things easier. That would clearly put less pressure on the heart.
Another close match. Looking forward to one that doesn’t put pressure on the heart rate, but I’ll take 1-0. Congrats! #PUP @officialpompey

Oh, how we’d all want it to be that easy, eh! But that isn’t the Pompey way and we know it. Some social media posts think Eisner perhaps needs to get used to it too.
You’ve gone for the wrong team if you’re concerned about “pressure on the heart rate” ????????????????

Get used to it Mike! We are #Pompey

It never gets comfortable; you’ll be accustomed to your higher heart rate, in time. Win or lose, Up The Blues.

1-0 or 5-0, you still only get three-points come the end of it don’t you. So, it doesn’t really matter, in many ways, how the result comes does it? Obviously, it goes without saying, we would like to win having impressed. Then again, once more, it’s the result – a win – that really counts.
Another result which was better than last season, a win instead of a loss. #brickbybrick

Win by 1 more than them, that’s all we need.
3 more points and on we go.— Dai Bach ????????????????PFC PUP (@MrDegueulasse) November 3, 2018
Pressure off the old ticker, I’d be happy with that. Yet that isn’t the Pompey way is it. However, what is; so far this season, is victories on the road as Saturday’s win over Bradford was the Blues’ seventh so far – Eisner isn’t going to be unhappy with that at all.
