Boateng: October Player Of The Month

Kevin-Prince Boateng has been named Pompey’s Player of the Month for October.

It’s the second award in succession for Boateng from the Blues’ Central Branch Supporters’ Club, as the midfielder also picked up the September prize.

The 22-year-old was an ever-present for Pompey in their Barclays Premier League matches throughout the autumn month.

With a number of consistently high-performances, he played a key-role in the side’s first league win of the season against Wolves, as well as the Blues’ 4-0 victory over Wigan at Fratton Park.

He also was on the scoresheet for Pompey, when he scored against his former club Tottenham.

He will be presented with the award before Blues’ next home game, Manchester United on November 28.
