After rejecting another cash offer earlier in the day the court has eventually made its decision on what Pompey’s future will be, and this court has decided…

The decision has been to adjourn the case and grant us a 7-day stay of execution, so we now have this time to find the money we owe.

We need to issue a ‘statement of affairs’ to prove that we CAN provide what is needed, to counter the insolvency claims from HMRC, who also claim that we owe £11.5m!

So, ‘if’ there is any saviour waiting in the wings – and sky sports news have claimed that PFC have said we have TWO serious offers on the table to buy the club AND pay off our debts – then they MUST move quickly and sort this out – failing that Balram Chainrai MUST put his hand in his pocket and settle this deal or he WILL lose the vast majority, if not all, of what he has already put in.

This has been a horrible, horrible thing to go through and I can say – as many of us have all along – I would not wish this on ANYONE.

I guess we NOW have to go through this all again next week? Well, not next week, it will be next Friday – 19th.
