The second biggest club in the area behind Pompey – of course I mean Havant & Waterloovile – booked their place in round 4 of the FA cup after a fantastic 4-2 replay win over Swansea.

Having managed to hold the league one high flyers to a 1-1 draw in Swansea a couple of weeks back West Leigh Park was the setting of the replay last night and the Hawks did not disappoint.

Yep, they rode their luck somewhat with the woodwork saving them as it had several times in the original tie but that is the magic of the cup. After racing into a 3-0 lead, Swansea came back to 3-2 and even missed a penalty but the 4th Hawks goal killed off the tie.

This win sets them up with a once in a lifetime trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool the weekend after next. Clearly I will be fully focused on our tie with Plymouth that day – I will be at the game – but I will be listening out to how the Hawks are fairing.
