It’s nearly the end of the week so it must mean another edition of ‘Chew The Fat’
As always there are loads of topics to discuss during this evenings debate and as is the norm I’ll be live and on line only on Vital Pompey from approx. 7:30 seeking your views and giving my opinion on the hot topics of the week.
I’ll chat about anything Pompey however tenuous, so just toss in the subject you want to discuss and we will take it from there.
But to get you thinking, how about..
The Old School Tie – There was speculation earlier in the week that a certain Matty Taylor was being linked with us .. before he flew bacck from tour to sign for West Ham that was… and with Benjani yet to sign a one year deal with Blackburn and Sol Campbell without a club, that got me thinking.
Which Pompey old-boy from the past five years or so would you like to see back at Fratton Park? Johnson or Defoe perhaps or what about Diarra or Diop – Forget the fact they are not available I just want your view on who you would recommend if money and contracts were not an option and CSI were going to grant you one wish.
Championship Manager – So the season is very nearly upon us and although we may see a couple of additions to the squad before we kick-off at the Riverside in just over a fortnight what we have now is going to be the basis of what we start with .. So if you were Cotterill who would you start with against Boro .. and what positions would you make a priority to strengthen as soon as possible
Top Six – Yep it is ‘silly season’ again and all and sundry chirp up with where they think their club can finish at the end of the season – I want to know where you think Pompey will end up and whether you would be happy with that ?
Top two, top six, top ten perhaps .. What do you think and what do you hope for ?
Those are just a few ideas for discussion, but as I say every week … It’s your agenda and anything goes!
Those that have taken part in any of the previous editions of ‘Chew The Fat’ will no doubt testify that a lively discussion is always had by all.
