Finishing top of the league, here’s a run down on the men who got us there: Eoin Doyle.

STRIKER

Eoin Doyle (Played 12 (0 as Sub) Scored 2):

A striker that split opinions, but today you’re only getting mine! I thought his addition to the team changed our season for the better.

It’s no coincidence that we went on a winning run when he came into the team, and gave players like Bennett and Naismith the space to push forward.

He was an intelligent striker whose work off the ball and introducing others into the game really helped the team, and if he is available next season I’d be the first to suggest signing him up.

  • I’m one of those who wasn’t sure on Eoin Doyle personally – that being said I didn’t actually see too much of him as it seemed I missed so much of his loan, probably wasn’t the case in reality, just felt like it. Yes, he offered more than goals in fairness, but certainly didn’t score enough, in my opinion. If his fee was nominal I’d not be that unhappy with a permanent deal BUT wouldn’t want too much money spent on him, would sooner stick with what we’ve got and/or bring in a free agent to be honest.
