If sky sports are right with what they ‘understand’ then Mikey Brown ‘should’, or at least ‘could’, soon be making his exit from Pompey.

Wolves have been interested in him although it is ‘said’ that Cardiff and Norwich are now ‘leading the race for the 33-year-old’.

The more interest that is generated in Browny then the better, even if it would have been good – if possible – to keep him at Pompey. We know that it is not possible though.

You could argue that a bidding war could begin, although I suspect that this is unlikely but the facts are the more clubs that are interested the more chance there is that he will move on, and ‘needs must’ mean he has to…
