The votes have been cast, counted and verified so we now know that the next preferred owners at Portsmouth Football Club, as voted for by you the Vital Pompey Voters, would be the fans backed bid from The Pompey Supporters Trust (PST).

Well, given a choice between The PST and Balram Chainrai this would be the preferred option anyway!

Personally I have to say that a fan owned club would be my preference, surely a club owned by the fans is going to be run with the best interests of its long-term future in mind as who cares more about the longevity of a football club than its fans, right?

I am not keen on Chainrai returning and have to say (although I could of course be wrong!) I find it strange that people could genuinely think that PFC would be in a better position in some 2-3-years or so when he eventually walked away than it would be under fan ownership – but each to their own eh.

A club owned by the fans is something I would really like although unfortunately I am really starting to feel that with Chainrai showing that intent to return that PFC will be again under his ‘reluctant ownership’ within the next few weeks, but again we will see…

Alas who we may or may not want, or prefer, to be the new owners is pretty much redundant really!

Who those owed money can be given a better deal, via the CVA, from is what will determine this and can The PST – which, without a shadow of a doubt gives the club the best long-term option – present the best option to the creditors though?!

What the poll (from Coxy30) asked – Who would you like in the board room at FP?

How you voted – PST 53%
Chainrai 47%

Before we move on what are your thoughts on what the last poll concluded?

You know what to do guys, leave your thoughts below please. Also vote on the latest poll to your right…
