The Pompey season continued with a draw against Scunthorpe last weekend.

Well, that has been and gone so we move forward and go again against Rotherham in, obviously in League One, on Saturday.

That Scunny draw had seen Kenny Jackett start with this XI at Fratton Park.

McGee
Hawkins
Burgess
Clarke
Lowe
Thompson
Ronan (Kennedy 71)
Close
Donohue (May 71)
Pitman
Naismith

What changes do you think the boss – working on the assumption Jackett does make any, unless enforced – could he make to the line up when the Blues come up against the Millers at the New York Stadium for this meeting, which has a 3pm kick off?

If it isn’t already clear what changes, again if any, Jackett will make at this point then the nearer we get to the game and any possible injures, or potential knocks, which might not be apparent at the moment will become known – obviously it goes without saying a strong line up would be expected regardless.

A number of those above, who featured last time round, first-team regulars if you will, would think they have a chance of keeping a place and given the fact Jackett could be tempted to remain his system from the Iron draw changes might not be necessary – we know Stuart O’Keefe and Gareth Evans will definitely sit out for sure.

  • Going to be a tough game. Owe them one as we lost 1-0 on a Sunday, early in September.
Can’t see too many cahnges from Scunny line up. Everything crossed for us.

  • Oh yes, they beat us at Fratton Park in a live TV game earlier in the season didn’t they. I’m with you Matt, cannot see many, if any changes tomorrow.
