As the search for new players continues the club are now looking to secure the services of Manchester City`s David James. The Official Manchester City website confirms a Pompey bid has been placed, and accepted for the England International Goalkeeper who will now hold talks with the club over personal terms.
The 36-year-old ‘keeper is keen on a move to be closer to his other half who currently lives in the South, so a move to Pompey and the South Coast could suit him fine.
