Harry Redknapp has spoke of his delight to sign Cameroon striker Berlin;

‘Berlin’s got his work permit, so he’s here now and we’re pleased to have him here,’ Redknapp told the club’s official website. ‘He’s a young boy, just 18. We’ve had him on trial, took him for nothing and are giving him an opportunity.

‘He’s strong and he has got something. I think if he works hard at his game then he could be okay. I’d like to get him out on loan somewhere. He’s strong enough, even though he’s only 18, to play league football.’

He has played a few friendly games for the reserves and looked average but according to Harry will become a good player. he will now leave again, going out on loan. Bournemouth or Millwall are both rumoured to be interested in Berlin.

Portsmouth have had many good up and coming players that don`t seem to make it, for example James Keane.
