What the poll asked – The outcome against Plymouth?
How you voted – Pompey win 46%
Plymouth win 24%
Ok, in the grand scheme of things only a small number actually voted, we have to take this into account and put things into context. However, the social media area is one I’ll give more focus going forward, which, with plenty of polls added on Twitter, will need your interaction to work alongside Vital Pompey as we look to grow all areas.
Was it a case of heart ruling the head with voting? Perhaps so, but if this predicted win can be achieved what a boost it’ll be for our potential play-off hopes.
However, history doesn’t favour Pompey at Plymouth in recent years. Argyle’s form at Home Park since the turn of the year also tends to suggest the Blues are going to have to produce something special to return to the south coast with a maximum return. Then again we showed against Wigan, albeit at Fratton Park on that occasion, we can beat anyone in League One.
In all honesty, who wouldn’t take a point? I would bite your arm off if we can manage this. Defeat isn’t the end of the world, but if we can get the win the majority believe we will then the top-six is very much on.
