14,500 fans could keep us alive and kicking?

An article from Midge on how the fans can play their part in keeping this club alive.

According to Dave Lampitt, NONE of Pompey’s money has to leave the club, as CSI never intended this to happen, and as such all Pompey’s funds are Pompey’s. Therefore any money made by ticket sales etc help towards keeping Pompey afloat.

We have been told on numerous occasions we need gate numbers to be in excess of 14,500 per game to break even. We’ve also heard that as long as PFC is not in debt and therefore trading and solvent we WON’T get deducted any points. So do the maths, if we can get the gates over 14,500 if that’s what our running costs still are, then for now that’s all the fans commitment need be to keep the great club solvent and away from a 10 point deduction.

Fans have spoken negatively with their feet when required in the past, now is the time to speak with your feet positively, and get these gates up and funds available to keep the FA away, till a new buyer is found, or the existing one proved innocent.

Play up Pompey.
